Terms of Service

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Portlazon (the “Platform”), including shopping from independent sellers and applying to sell. If you have questions, contact us and we’ll help.

1) Who we are

Portlazon is a marketplace that helps shoppers discover and buy goods from independent sellers in Portland and the Pacific Northwest. Sellers are third-party businesses. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Portlazon is not the seller of the listed products.

2) Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms or harmful behavior.

3) Purchases, checkout, and payments

When you place an order, you’re purchasing products from one or more independent sellers through the Platform. Payments are processed through a secure payments provider. Your order confirmation will summarize the items, totals, and applicable shipping.

  • Prices and availability can change at any time before checkout.
  • Taxes and shipping (if applicable) are calculated at checkout.
  • Multi-seller orders may ship in separate packages.

More details: Shipping & Returns.

4) Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping and returns vary by seller and product category. Some items (like food, drink, personal care, or made-to-order goods) may be final sale. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us and we’ll help coordinate a resolution.

Please review: Shipping & Returns and FAQ.

5) Seller terms (high level)

Sellers are responsible for product listings, inventory accuracy, fulfillment, customer service, and compliance with applicable laws (including labeling and safety requirements where relevant). Portlazon may remove listings or suspend sellers that violate policies or create risk for customers.

6) Prohibited conduct

  • Illegal, deceptive, or harmful activity.
  • Attempting to access accounts or systems without authorization.
  • Harassment, hate, or threats toward other users, sellers, or staff.
  • Posting content that infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Using the Platform to distribute malware or abuse our services.

7) Content and intellectual property

Sellers own and are responsible for their product content (images, descriptions, and trademarks). Portlazon and its branding are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit Platform content without permission.

8) Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” Portlazon does not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, Portlazon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Because Portlazon is a marketplace, responsibility for product quality, safety, and fulfillment generally rests with the seller.

9) Disputes, governing law, and changes

We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly. If you have a concern, contact us first so we can help. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll post an updated version on this page.
