Portlazon is a marketplace of independent Portland and Pacific Northwest sellers. That means shipping and returns are a little more flexible—and a lot more human.

Shipping

We default to the lowest-cost shipping option available per seller. If faster options exist, you can upgrade before checkout.

Why is shipping calculated per seller?

Portlazon brings together independent shops. Each seller fulfills from their own location, so shipping is calculated per seller. If your cart includes multiple sellers, you may see multiple shipping selections and your order may arrive in more than one package.

Cheapest by default — can I upgrade shipping?

Yes. We default to the lowest-cost shipping option available for each seller. If a seller offers faster options, you can upgrade before checkout.

When will my order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by seller and product. Most sellers ship within 1–3 business days, but some items are made-to-order. You’ll see estimated delivery windows at checkout when available.

Do you ship outside the Pacific Northwest?

Many sellers ship nationwide. Some products are limited to local delivery or pickup. If an item is restricted, you’ll see it clearly on the product page or in the cart.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

If you need to update an address, contact us quickly. Once a seller has shipped, address changes may not be possible.

Some sellers offer pickup or local delivery. Availability varies by seller and product.

How does local pickup work?

Some sellers offer local pickup. When available, select pickup in your cart. The seller will follow up with the pickup details.

Returns & Refunds

Returns are handled by individual sellers. Always check the product page for the most accurate policy.

What is your general return policy?

Because Portlazon is a marketplace, returns are handled by individual sellers. Return eligibility varies by item category (especially for food, drink, and personal care).

In general, eligible items can be returned in new/unused condition within 14 days of delivery. Some products are final sale. Always check the product page for the most accurate policy.

What items are typically final sale?

Food and beverages, perishable goods, personal care items, and made-to-order products are often final sale. Sellers may also mark certain items as final sale.

Who pays return shipping?

If a return is approved, return shipping is usually the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Sellers may provide a prepaid label at their discretion.

How do refunds work?

Once a return is approved and received, refunds are typically issued to the original payment method. Timing can vary by bank, but most refunds post within 5–10 business days after processing.

Problems & Order Support

If something’s off, we’ll help. Start with the seller when possible—then escalate to us.

My order arrived damaged or incorrect — what should I do?

Reach out as soon as you can. The fastest resolution is usually contacting the seller, but if you’re stuck we’ll step in.

Include your order number, photos of the issue, and what you’d like as a resolution.

My package is marked delivered but I don’t have it.

Check around entrances, mailrooms, and with neighbors first. If it’s still missing, contact us and we’ll help investigate with the carrier and seller.

Can I cancel an order?

If the seller hasn’t started fulfillment, cancellations may be possible. Contact us quickly. Once an item has shipped, we can’t guarantee cancellation.
