After hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 2014, I’ve hiked over 10,000 miles! An advocate of lightweight backpacking, I learned what features I wanted in a pack, but no pack delivered them all: so I began sewing my own! When not in the wilderness I live in the city, and I needed a pack for everyday use; starting with the simple, lightweight, long-distance backpacking design, I developed the FUNCTION pack. Compact yet voluminous, it includes a zippered exterior pocket, two exterior stretch pockets, shoulder strap pockets, and finally, an interior laptop sleeve. Carefully designed and handmade with high-quality materials, the FUNCTION Pack performs beautifully in both the urban and natural landscapes.
